Ali İhsan Kahraman earned his bachelor's degree from the Economics and Business Administration Honors Program at Istanbul Bilgi University and the University of London Economics and Management program coordinated by the London School of Economics and Political Science. He received his master's degree in Public Policy from Sabancı University with his thesis titled "Geopolitics of Energy: The Case of Turkey—Rising to Challenges", and his PhD from the Department of Politics and International Relations at Istanbul University with a dissertation titled "The Belt-Road Initiative as an Element of China's Global Politics: Political Economy-Political Analysis."

His doctoral dissertation was later published as a book under the title "China and the Belt-Road Initiative: A Political Economy Analysis." His primary research interests include the Belt-Road Initiative, Eurasian economics and politics, and Islamic and international relations theories. He has published in international academic journals as well as op-eds in various digital media platforms and think tanks, including TRT World.

Ali İhsan Kahraman began his academic career at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University in 2015 and continues as a faculty member in the Department of International Relations at Istanbul Medeniyet University. In addition to his academic work, he is actively involved in non-governmental organizations, serving on executive boards that contribute to social and intellectual development for the betterment of humanity.
